World Ocean Day Reef Expedition - Explore the Coral Greenhouse & Ocean Sentinels at John Brewer Reef

Saturday 7 June & Sunday 8 June 2026

Join us for a very special World Ocean Day experience aboard Adrenalin Snorkel & Dive as we head to the breathtaking Museum of Underwater Art (MOUA) at John Brewer Reef for two unforgettable days celebrating our oceans, reef science, conservation and underwater creativity.

Swim, snorkel or dive among the world-famous Coral Greenhouse and Ocean Sentinels sculptures created by internationally acclaimed underwater artist Jason deCaires Taylor, while hearing directly from marine scientists, conservation leaders and reef restoration experts helping shape the future of the Great Barrier Reef.

This is more than just a reef trip — it is an opportunity to become part of a global movement dedicated to protecting and restoring our oceans.

ReefBlitz Citizen Science Experience

During the day, guests will have the opportunity to participate in ReefBlitz — a collaborative citizen science initiative where divers and snorkellers document marine species and reef observations using the iNaturalist platform.

Every photo and observation contributes to real scientific research helping scientists better understand reef biodiversity and ecosystem health at MOUA and John Brewer Reef.

Whether you are an experienced underwater photographer or simply passionate about the ocean, your observations can make a genuine impact.

Meet the Ocean Sentinels

Learn from leading marine scientists, conservationists and reef restoration experts featured as part of the Ocean Sentinels installation — a globally recognised underwater sculpture trail honouring individuals dedicated to protecting our oceans.
